The search engine allows for cars to be searched for based on the make of car, the price range and where the vehicle is located. Using the Search box on the Home Page or on the Find a Car page the appropriate criteria can be selected. If the make is not of interest, select All Makes. If the price is not of interest, select Any Price. If the location is not of interest, select International.

When the Search Now button is clicked the system will retrieve all Cars on the database that meet the criteria. Search results are displayed in groups of about 10 with the option to view the next or previous group. Click the such and such to view full details of a particular ad.

The search engine allows for parts & spares to be searched for based on the make of car, the category (e.g. Body parts, Electrical, Engines) and where the part is located. Using the Search box on the Home Page or on the Parts and Spares page the appropriate criteria can be selected. If the make is not of interest, select All Makes. If the category is not of interest, select All Categories. If the location is not of interest, select International.

Simply click on the link on the Home Page or use the Classifieds menu button and the full list of Classified Ads will be presented. The classifieds are displayed in groups of about 10 with the option to view the next or previous group.

Our website is designed to allow you to place your own advertisement directly onto our database. By clicking the Place an Ad button on the top menu you will be guided through a step-by-step process allowing you to submit the required information and payment details. You are required to supply some contact information, some details about the car or part you wish to sell (eg: the Make, the Year of Manufacture, a description etc) and your method of payment (cheque or credit card). If your car make is not present in the drop-down lists please email us at info@onlineuniquecarsales.com.au and we will add your make asap.

You are given the opportunity to place more than one advertisement if required. The information submitted is written directly to our database. If you wish to supply one or more photos (this is highly recommended) then the photo(s) can be mailed or emailed to Online Unique Carsales.

Once your payment has been processed and approved the advertisement is activated and will appear on this site (allow about 5 working days).

The following outlines each step in the process:

Step 1: Terms and Conditions

You must read and accept the Terms and Conditions before placing an ad.

Step 2: Contact Details of Seller

Some basic contact information is required so that potential buyers can contact you regarding your advertisement (Online Unique Carsales is not involved in any dealings between vendors and purchasers). You are required to enter at least one of Email, Telephone, Fax or Mobile Telephone. If you are a Dealer you must enter Dealer Name and LMCT. If you are not a Dealer then you are required to enter your First Name and Surname.

Step 3: Select Type of Advertisement

This site provides for three types of advertisements: Cars, Parts&Spares and Classifieds. The Classifieds are intended as a forum for advertising goods and services other than cars and parts & spares. It can also be used for such items as "Wanted to Buy" and for general notices that may be of interest to the Unique Car community.

Simply click on the type of ad you wish to submit and you are presented with a form to enter the specific details of your ad. If you wish to place more than one ad you are given the opportunity once the first ad has been entered (you only need submit your contact details once).

Step 4: Details of Advertisement

Placing an Ad for a Car

One of Registration No, Engine No, VIN No or Chassis No must be supplied (further information about the Motor Regulations Act is located in the Terms and Conditions). All other details must be supplied. When all details have been entered, click the Confirmation box at the bottom of the form and then click the 'Submit this Ad' button.

Placing an ad for Parts&Spares

The Year of Manufacture is optional - all other details must be supplied. When all details have been entered, click the Confirmation box at the bottom of the form and then click the 'Submit this Ad' button.

Classifieds

The wording for the classified must be supplied. The other details are only relevant if the notice concerns a product or service for sale. When all relevant details have been entered, click the Confirmation box at the bottom of the form and then click the 'Submit this Ad' button.

Step 5: Confirm Advertisement Details

This page confims the number and type of ads submitted so far. It gives the opportunity to submit another ad or to proceed to the Secure Payment Section.

Step 6: Payment Details

This page confirms the total number of ads submitted and the total amount payable: e.g.

If you prefer to pay by cheque or money order then please click the 'Pay by Cheque' button.

If you prefer to pay by a secure credit card transaction then please complete the form and submit.

Step 7: Payment Confirmation

This page confirms the method of payment and lists the submitted ads with their Ad Reference Numbers. It is very important to print this page (or at least note down the User Number and Ad Reference Numbers) as the reference numbers are required for any modifications to the ads. They are also required for Online Unique Carsales to correlate photos received with the correct ads.

The next step is to promptly send via mail or email the photos for inclusion with the ad(s). This process is further described below. Also, if you have elected to pay by cheque, promptly mail the cheque (made payable to Online Unique Carsales) to the following address:

Once your cheque or credit card transaction has been processed and approved your ad(s) will be activated and will appear on this website. Please allow about 5 working days.

If you wish to use email to send JPG or GIF files (preferably 320x240 pixels and no more than 25K each) then please attach the files and email to the following address:

Clearly indicate (in the email or on the back of the hard-copy photo) the Ad Reference Number that each photo is to be associated with.

Maintaining your Ad

Select the 'Modify existing advertisement' option on the Maintain Your Ad page. You will be required to enter your User ID and Ad Reference Number. You are then given the opportunity to change the price or the wording of the ad.

Select the 'Renew your existing advertisement' option on the Maintain Your Ad page. You will be required to enter your User ID and Ad Reference Number. You are then given the opportunity to renew your ad for another month by paying by cheque, money order or credit card.

If this is the first time you have used this site you can create ads using the Place an Ad button. You can place several ads in one session and make one payment for the total price. When entering your contact information make sure you answer 'yes' to 'Are you a Dealer?' and enter your LMCT number. You will be issued with a User Number and Password which you should print out and file for future reference.

Once you have been issued with a User Number and Password you should always create and maintain your ads via the Dealer Area.
